Diabetes and Periodontal Disease: An Overview for the Practitioner

Course Information


The following presentation is intended to serve as a guide for determining diabetic risk factors for periodontal disease. Clinicians are encouraged to establish a protocol for detecting signs and symptoms. In addition, clinicians should recognize when a dental referral is indicated.
